Palette knife painting
You can't tell from the picture, but what really sets this little ranunculus apart is that it's painted on a gallery wrapped 1.5" canvas, so you can stand it up like a cube, or you can, of course hang it. The sides are painted black. It also has a black underpainting, which in this case works well. This little guy is sold, but I have some in other colors I'll be posting.
